At the age of 18, the boss began to enter the catering industry from nothing, followed the master from the selection of ingredients to the marinade formula, researched and innovated together, and continued to learn until the Republic of China came to Taichung Zhongzheng Road to open Fu Dingwang pork knuckles, where we want to be delicious, original, and healthy, which is the driving force behind the continuous research and innovation, and the enthusiasm for pork knuckle cuisine has never stopped.
For "pig's feet", it has always been a gift, banquet, receiving wind and dust, and birthday celebrations, and it is also the most common and widely used ingredient in Taiwan's folk tradition, especially the matter of "eating pig's feet", which not only has the meaning of removing filth, celebrating new life, changing luck, but also increasing happiness and longevity, not only in the New Year's Festival, but even every leap month, the married woman will also send pig's foot noodles as a return to her mother's house to honor her parents and pray for happiness.
Fudingwang's pig's feet are fresh and marinated every day, from the morning to the time they come back to clean, finish, and boil... This process takes at least a few hours to produce a soft, Q, slippery and non-greasy pig's knuckle. Each piece of pork knuckle is exchanged for time for deliciousness, following ancient methods and continuing traditions, just to pass on the good taste of Taiwan from generation to generation. On this warm day, bring home a piece of ancient marinated pig's feet, and bring auspiciousness and full of heart to Dad and Mom.

Situated nearby Taichung Train Station on the bank of Luchuan, Miyahara is a red-brick architecture built by Miyahara Takeo, a Japanese ophthalmology doctor in 1927. It was the largest ophthalmology clinic in Taichung during the Japanese colonial period. After the surrender of Japan in 1945, Miyahara became Taichung Health Bureau. As time passed by, the suspended Health Bureau slowly decayed and became an unused dangerous building.
Fortunately, Dawn Cake, a pastry company renowned for its pineapple cakes, acquired the building and preserved Miyahara's original red-brick walls and archway. The interior decor was redesigned like Hogwarts in the movie Harry Potter. The water well in the middle of the building is redecorated into a modern-looking fundraising box made of glass.
Visitors to Miyahara are not only recommended to appreciate the details of the historic architecture but also try Dawn Cake’s signature ice cream, bubble tea and pastries wrapped in nostalgic packings!
