You can get to Griffith Observatory&Park in Los Angeles by:
Driving
Take the Golden State Freeway (I-5) and exit at Crystal Springs Drive. You can also take the Ventura Freeway (SR 134) and exit at Forest Lawn Drive or Victory Boulevard.
Taking public transit
Take the DASH Observatory/Los Feliz shuttle, which runs every 15–20 minutes. You can also take the Metrolink.
