The Ancient Theatre of Fourvière is a Roman theatre in Lyon, France. It was built on the hill of Fourvière, which is located in the center of the Roman city. The theatre is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site protecting the historic center of Lyon.
The theatre was built in two steps: around 15 BC, a theatre with a 90m diameter was built next to the hill. At the beginning of the 2nd century, the final construction added a last place for the audience. The diameter is 108m, and there were seats for 10,000 people.
Today the theatre is primarily a tourist site, but it is still used as a cultural venue. Each year, the Nuits de Fourvière festival takes place in the theatre.
To reach the Ancient Theatre of Fourvière, the most scenic option is to take the Lyon public transportation system's funicular from Vieux Lyon metro station.

Located on the banks of the Rhône, the Parc de la Tête d'Or covers an area of 105 hectares. It is accessible by 7 entrances, the most remarkable of which is the Porte des Enfants du Rhône which opens onto the perspective of a 16-hectare lake, the centre of the landscape composition. Free of charge, it remains today one of the largest and most beautiful urban parks in France.
For several years now, the teams of the Parc de la Tête d'Or have been committed to making the site accessible to people with disabilities: choice of suitable materials, removal of obstacles, creation of an access ramp near the Cité Internationale.
All the sanitary facilities have been refurbished and are accessible in all seasons to people with reduced mobility. The Parc de la Tête d'Or car park is also accessible to the vehicles of people holding the European Parking Card. At the same time, the Botanical Garden's teams offer guided tours of the large greenhouses to blind and visually impaired people.
