Founded in Tainan 130 years ago, Tu Hsiao Yueh has brought its traditional flavors north to Taipei. The danzih noodles here are made with minced meat stewed at a high temperature and served with sprouts, dried shrimp, cilantro, pureed garlic and black vinegar. Each small bowl is packed with a distinctive old-time flavor that is also reflected in the restaurant decor.
