From the executive port, where the waterway is located, run north along National Highway 7 for about 7.3 km, and after passing the Sinnam Port where Haesindang Park is located, you will come across the quiet and cozy port of Galnam Port.
Galnam Village is a small fishing village, but it was once one of the wealthiest villages in the neighborhood for pollock fishing and seaweed harvesting, and it was also a pioneer of seafood farming on the East Sea coast in the 1970s. Thanks to the abundance of seafood, numerous tidal rocks, and clear waters, the number of tourists visiting the area from far and wide has been increasing in recent years.
One of the most popular spots among snorkeling enthusiasts these days is Galnam Port in Samcheok. The secluded countryside of Galnam Port is less crowded than other snorkeling spots, and is praised for its cute tidal rocks and clean water.
Village-run rentals include picnic tables, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, goggles, life jackets, tubes, and transparent canoes with a view of the water. A great area to play with children is the water close to the beach. Inside, the currents are weak and the water is shallow, making it a great place for children to swim and snorkel.

The old church building constructed in 1949 was demolished, and a new building was built in 2014. The new Gahoe-dong Catholic Church is remarkably characterized by the juxtaposition of traditional hanok and modern architecture. The two different styles were not made into a melange, but juxtaposed so that people can feel the different charms at the same time.
The building expresses a Korean gentleman wearing hanbok putting his arms around a blue-eyed foreign priest. The low-built hanok, giving Korean traditional vibes to the area that was losing such atmosphere, and the western-style church behind it catch the eyes of passers-by. While the construction project was planned on a large lot of 3,300 square meters, the project divided up construction into three buildings matching the atmosphere of the neighborhood. Natural materials were mainly used and stained glass was used minimally to enhance the charm of hanok architecture.
The hanok building was built using Korean red pine (Pinus densiflora) by a master carpenter of intangible cultural heritage to create high-quality results. As it is a religious building, you can find various religious elements inside. The miracle of five loaves of bread and two fish is engraved on the tiles of the roof. Such small details make us imagine the time when the priest who majored in architecture and the architect in charge of design shared their opinions to settle on the design of the buildings.

The aquarium is housed within the COEX mall, which is, itself, part of the larger COEX Convention & Exhibition Center. The aquarium opened in 2000.
The COEX Aquarium features 90 exhibition tanks grouped in fourteen "discovery zones", including six themed areas. The COEX Aquarium is arranged such that visitors follow a preset path through the aquarium, experiencing each of the themed areas in turn. Each exhibit features a dedicated aquarium tank where visitors can view species of fish indigenous to the theme location. In addition to fish, other local animals are included in the exhibit such as birds, otters, and appropriate vegetation is also included in each exhibit.
In the undersea tunnel exhibit, visitors walk in an acrylic tunnel through a tank containing 2000 tons of water. The tank includes sharks and sea turtles which swim around visitors in all directions.

Haeundae Beach Train Line: Mipo Station – Dalmaji Tunnel – Cheongsapo Station – Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory – Gudeokpo Port – Songjeong Station
Located at the eastern end of Haeundae, Mipo is also the site of Haeundae Beach Train’s Mipo Station. This beautiful port boasts a great view of the contrast between the skyscrapers of Haeundae on one side and the lights from the small fishing boats lining the coast on the other. Take slow steps to the Mipo Blueline Park square. “Blue Line” is the official name of Haeundae Beach Train. From Mipo Port to Songjeong, the entire trail is decked out in wooden platforms. Some staircases lead you around the coastal cliffs to an amazing view of the sea. Seeing Haeundae from Daritdol Observatory gives a whole new vibe to the district’s skyscrapers. Dalmaji Tunnel, once painted with a whitish gray, now features different colors.
These signposts lead you through Busan Green Railway while letting you know your current location on the trail and the remaining distance to the next section. An old-fashioned beach train runs by the trail at a leisurely pace, bringing the mountains and the seas together to create unique scenery. Cheongsapo Port’s view is completed by the sharp contrast of red and white from the Twin Lighthouses, the blue sea, and the sky. If you’re feeling brave, walk on the transparent Daritdol Observatory, and watch the waves striking the rocks far below.
The second half of the walking trail is made up of the Gudeokpo–Songjeong section. If you’re walking all the way from Mipo Port, you might have to rest your legs a bit. There are plenty of spots for you to take a breather and enjoy the sight of the sea all the way to the horizon. Slightly further is Jukdo Park at the end of Songjeong Beach, which would be a great place to wrap up this walk. If you’re lucky enough to arrive during sunset hours, you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the sunset descending into the sea.

The steep wall of the Jeoryeong Coastal Trail is a unique view of the village, where you can see small houses clustered along the narrow alley formed by the coast at the end of the cliff. This is where the sorrowful lives of refugees began and where the current cultural village community of Huinnyeoul Culture Village has been established.
Huinnyeoul-gil, the representative original downtown center of Busan, was named after the current of water at the foot of the Bongnaesan Mountain that resembles the white falling snow. In December 2011, the old house was remodeled and renovated into a unique Culture and Art Village that reflects the life in Yeongdo.
Huinnyeoul-gil consists of 14 alleys as well as cozy cafés, workshops, and independent bookstores. The ocean breeze enters the slow-paced alleys, and the greenery between rocks add relaxation to daily life. One of the must-visit places on Huinnyeoul-gil is the Huinnyeol Jeomppang, where you can enjoy the best ramen noodles while gazing at the vast ocean. A moment of peace enters the mind as you enjoy your meal after a long day of walking. The end of the road connects to the Jeoryeong Coastal Trail once again and reunites with travelers who walked between the cliffs and the lands below.

The Korea National Arboretum (KNA) is in Gwangneung forest, between Namyangju-si and Pocheon-si, in Gyeonggi province. Gwangneung was a royal forest, which surrounded the tomb of King Sejo of the Joseon dynasty.
