PIER 39 is the premiere entertainment destination in the heart of the San Francisco waterfront. Along with two levels of dining, entertainment, shopping and attractions both on The PIER and in San Francisco Bay, PIER 39 is home to the world-famous sea lions, who have been delighting guests daily at K-Dock since 1990.
The PIER is a gathering place for millions of guests annually. With picture-perfect views of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Alcatraz and the city skyline at almost every turn, it is easy to see why PIER 39 has recently been named the most visited attraction in San Francisco for the ninth consecutive year. In September of 2018, PIER 39 was named a Legacy Business by the City of San Francisco. A visit to San Francisco starts at The PIER.

This is the most Instagrammable spot in LA.
Made famous by the thousands of selfies and Instagram snaps taken at the #pinkwall, the shop has become a local landmark. Inspired by Luis Barragán’s confident and optimistic use of colour, their Melrose Avenue shop opened its doors in 2005.
There’s plenty to see once you venture inside, which is arranged in a series of divided areas to resemble individual movie sets. With a loft-like layout, there’s plenty of areas to explore, including a gallery wall featuring a hand-picked selection of original artworks and prints as well as sofas for relaxing.

Originally opened in 1901, Angels Flight — the world’s shortest railway — has given more than 100 million rides on its hillside track. In 2017, the Angels Flight Railway Foundation selected the Angels Flight Development Company, LLC, a joint venture led by the ACS Group, to recondition, operate, and maintain the funicular for the next 30 years. Passenger service operations, subject to occasional closures for maintenance, recommenced on August 31, 2017.

They serve a special Korean dessert known as “Ah-Boong”, a fish-shaped waffle cone filled with your choice of filling and topped with soft serve. While the traditional red bean-filled Japanese taiyaki from Little Tokyo Taiyaki just outside the Galleria are wonderful on their own, the Korean ahboong at nearby SomiSomi shoot for the stars, with silky soft serves, four different filling options and toppings of your choice in a fish-shaped waffle cone sundae. As delicious as they are photogenic, each Somi Somi cone can come filled with Nutella, custard, taro or red bean, with rotating weekly ice cream flavors that can include matcha, ube and cookies and cream. If you’re in the mood for regular taiyaki, they also make them as well, including one filled with less conventional melted yellow cheese.
